Another Chalk Paint Project ~End Table~

Hi everyone!
Here's another chalk paint project I did.
When you don't need to sand a piece, you kind of can't stop painting...lol

I love the shape...

I used the same homemade chalk paint when I did this servers buffet and glaze.
I was so into painting I forgot to take any "during" pictures.

I think the shape of this front and the handles just go so perfect together :)

Je viens de paris
( I come from Paris)

But I'm dreaming about Provence at the moment, because I'm reading this.

"A year in Provence" by Peter Mayle.
The sun, great food, wine, market, interesting Provancal people and French Provancal furniture must be ...everywhere! lol

One deep drawer.

I'm happy with how this side table has turned out.

Next project will be...

Which colour shoud I go for?

Have a great weekend!!

    1. Thank you Beth,

Yes, chalk paint is amazing, do you make your own or use ASCP?

Thanks for the suggestion for my new dresser!
Oh my God, Grey-white combi was my first inspiration, especially I've already got the colours.
      I'll decide soon :)

  3. I love the top! Well done! I gave homemade chalk paint another try today and it's sticking extremely well--I think even better than the real thing. That paint isn't going anywhere. Still need to add a finish. Do you know if glaze serves as a finish/sealer like a poly or lacquer? I'm not as familiar with glaze. Thanks!

    1. Hi, thank you for the comment!
I've never used the real thing so I can't compare but....I know for price-wise, hoemmade is better, hehe!
I'm looking forward to going over to your site and check your creations out!
For me, glaze does not act as a sealer or finish, it's for more adding charactor to the piece...
Maybe there's a product which will act as a sealer, but I'm not so sure...
